“I love coming to the Sturgeon Bay Farmers Market every Saturday, it’s my chance to connect directly with people who are interested in microgreens and native plants. As a business owner, it’s the only opportunity I have to sell straight to the consumer while also sharing the health benefits of microgreens and the importance of planting native species in our yards. The Sturgeon Bay Farmers Market truly brightens my weekend because it allows me to talk about the things I’m most passionate about.
You can also find my microgreens throughout the county, at local grocery stores like Healthy Way, Marketplace Foods, Harbor Market, and periodically at Piggly Wiggly. They’re also featured in restaurants including Get Real Café and Bluefront Café. To learn more about Grow Door County, visit growdoorcounty.com or follow along on social media at @growdoorcounty.”

“The Sturgeon Bay Farmers Market gives Ted and Dee Chaudoir the opportunity to market the products they enjoy making for customers who appreciate the skill needed to create handmade items. Dee puts together table runners, placemats, hand towels, scrubbies along with doing custom work for those that need something special. Ted makes picture frames and birdhouses from weathered wood using lumber from Great Granddad Justin Chaudoir’s barn which was constructed in the late 1800s. Ted loves to frame artwork from pieces that capture his interest as well as making available empty frames for customers to frame their own art. You can contact us at chaudoirfarms@centurytel.net or 920-246-9194 or 9195.”
